Armstrong Auction Service is headquartered in the Boise, Nampa, Caldwell, Idaho area. We have conducted auctions all over the state of Idaho as well as several Western states and beyond.

We can assist you in the liquidation of estates, business liquidations, real estate, heavy equipment, vehicles, antiques, downsizing and more.

Alan Armstrong - Owner, Auctioneer, President since 1991 -

Alan grew up in Gooding County where he graduated from Wendell High School. Soon after high school, he moved to the Treasure Valley to attend classes at Boise State University. Alan then joined the US Marine Corps. After 4-1/2 years as a Marine and serving 7 months of that term in Desert Storm, he decided to move back to Idaho to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams.

After returning home in 1991, Alan began the creation of Armstrong Auctions. In 1992 shortly after graduating from Missouri Auction School, there arose an opportunity for Alan to purchase what later became the Armstrong Auctions Gallery in downtown Caldwell. The gallery was open from 1992 'til 2006. The gallery was sold in order to focus our energies on conducting real estate, onsite estate, and business liquidation auctions.

Alan has been fortunate to sell over 1250 auctions for his own company as well as assist several other auctioneers all over the country. Alan is an avid reader of business, marketing, and auction related books and magazines. Alan is a member of the National Auctioneers Association as well as a graduate of AARE (Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate) and CES (Certified Estate Specialist) courses.

AJ Armstrong - Auctioneer, Online Auction Expert, Vice President

AJ grew up in the Treasure Valley and attended school in the Vallivue School District.

AJ started in the business selling hotdogs for his parents at their weekly auctions. At 14 he became more involved in the setup and ringman duties of the auction. During his 17th summer, he graduated from Reppert School of Auctioneering.

AJ has had a couple different jobs in the last few years and even moved to Arizona for a year, but has since realized that auctions are in his blood. AJ and his bride, Amber, are proud parents of Jett William and Ella John Armstrong. AJ enjoys drag racing at Firebird Raceway. Whether he is in his '66 Ford Falcon or the 11-second ride of ArmstrongAuctions.com, you can be sure to find a smile on his face.

AJ has also traveled extensively around the country assisting other auction firms (large and small) to better utilize the internet for promoting their auctions. At a very young age, He is an online/internet auction expert.

AJ is also a member of the NAA as well as one of the youngest graduates ever of the AARE (Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate) courses. He is currently attending the College of Western Idaho and anticipates graduating in the Spring of 2011.

Dee Dee Armstrong - Co-owner, Auctioneer, Internet Auction Expert

Dee Dee grew up in the Treasure Valley and attended school in the Nampa and Vallivue School Districts.

During Alan's service in Desert Storm, Dee Dee learned many of her organizational skills as a "Key Wife" for the wives of the US Marines. As a Key Wife her duties included organizing rallies, care packages, and a shoulder to cry on for the wives of Marines.

After returning home with Alan and the kids, she helped to build Armstrong Auction Service into what it is today. She is a graduate of Reppert School of Auctioneering. Dee Dee has been involved in more areas of the business than any of us could ever imagine. From making Armstrong Auctions the first auction company in Idaho to have a website (in fact one of the first websites in Idaho or anywhere else), to auctioneering, to head of marketing, and now to heading up the office staff. Dee Dee has truly been a blessing over the years. She is often the first contact for our clients and is always a pleasure to speak with.

Dee Dee is an amateur photographer who enjoys capturing life through her lens. Dee Dee is also a graduate of the CES (Certified Estate Specialist) courses. Dee Dee has also traveled extensively around the country helping other auction firms utilize the internet to bring more bidders to their auctions.
